Action Cleaning Services, LLC was started by Jorge Fonrodona in 1994 shortly after relocating to the Midwest. A native of Bogota, Colombia SA, Jorge lived in Washington DC where he worked for the ServiceMaster Corporation in the late 80s and early 90s. During his time with ServiceMaster, he learned all the tricks of the trade including floorcare for all types of flooring surfaces. His knowledge has evolved over the years, and he has adjusted to keep up with trends in the industry including better products and machinery. “You have to evolve with the times,” Jorge said.
Jorge has been married for 30 years to his wife Joni Stanley, a native of the area and they have two sons, Alex and Andrew Fonrodona.
In 2021, Alex Fonrodona, Jorge’s eldest son graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Business and is now working for the family business. Alex is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work beside his dad and to provide excellent customer service to his clients. He has brought a new perspective to the company including an increased presence on social media. Alex spends his free time working out and enjoys weightlifting, running, Tough Mudder competitions, and spending time with his girlfriend Crista Stover and their two dogs, Marshall and Milo.
Andrew Fonrodona, Jorge’s younger son works part time for the company and is a student at Lewis and Clark Community College where he is studying to become an electrician.
